The Thermodynamic Center

Infrared Sauna is the only service currently available. Expansion planned. Summer 2025. Pricing only reflects Infrared Sauna Sessions

Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna uses infrared heaters to emit infrared light, which is absorbed directly by the skin, resulting in a deeper and more intense sweat at lower temperatures compared to traditional saunas. This method is known for promoting relaxation, detoxification, improved circulation, and potential health benefits such as pain relief and enhanced skin health.

Cold Plunge - Coming in 2025

A cold plunge involves immersing the body in cold water for a short duration. This practice is known for its invigorating effects, promoting rapid muscle recovery, reducing inflammation, and boosting circulation. The cold exposure can also enhance mental clarity, increase alertness, and strengthen the immune system, making it a popular recovery method for athletes and wellness enthusiasts.

Traditional Sauna - Coming in 2025

A traditional sauna uses heated stones or an electric heater to warm the air to high temperatures, typically between 150°F and 195°F (65°C to 90°C). This high heat causes the body to sweat profusely, promoting relaxation, detoxification, improved circulation, and overall wellness. The high humidity levels can be adjusted by pouring water over the hot stones, enhancing the therapeutic experience.

Contrast Therapy - Coming in 2025

Contrast therapy using a sauna and cold plunge involves alternating between 10-15 minutes in a hot sauna and 1-2 minutes in a cold plunge pool, repeated for 3-4 cycles. The heat causes vasodilation, increasing blood flow and promoting relaxation, while the cold causes vasoconstriction, reducing blood flow and inflammation. This alternating temperature process creates a pumping effect in the blood vessels, reducing muscle soreness, decreasing inflammation, improving circulation, and speeding up recovery, ultimately enhancing flexibility, reducing stiffness, and promoting overall well-being.
